A Poll is an excellent option that enables you to tally opinions of your community members against a particular statement. The polls in a community can be created by any of the members of that particular community. To create an Orkut poll, you need to follow these steps:

1. Go to any Orkut community you are a member of.
2. Scroll down pages and press on new poll button.



3. It will take you the poll setting page where you need to fill up the form in order to set up your poll.
4. There you need to write the statement or question against which you need to execute the poll.
5. You may or may not put any description for the statement you make.
6. The first two options are mandatory, whereas there are added voluntary options that may or may not be included in the poll.
7. You may add options according to your requirement.
8. You may customize the selection of options; it may be individual or multiple.
9. You may decide the eligibility of participation whether the poll participant is a community member or not.
10. You can also set the expiry date for the poll.

As you can create the poll, you can also delete your poll. Here are the steps:

1. Click on the poll you have created.
2. Click on the delete button in order to delete the poll you have created. You will get the delete button in the poll listing page as well as vote result page.
