Remove the name of your blog from the page title of your posts by swaping blogger titles for better search engine(seo)Implementation and displaying Post name insted of blog name is a bloccger Seo hack that will increase yours traffic through search Engine,Change Blogger Title TagOnly you need to change yours blogger title tag html code in this hack.

You have noticed that Blogger always adds your blog name to the page title of all your posts ? This will sometime lead to decreasing of yours blog traffic or sometime not index in google ,this problem is suffer mainly by those who generally used long Url .So to solve this problem you have to change yours template code , by following below Instruction.Generally We Change blogger title after movingto Dashboard -> Setting -> Basic.But this is not enough to increase yours blog traffic for this you have to Edit yours html template.

  1. To do this, go to Layout > Edit HTML in your Dashboard.
  2. Search for <title><data:blog.pagetitle/></title>. It should be near the top.
  3. Replace that with this piece of code.

  • That’s it! Save and view your work.

After changed of this tag, you’ll see that on post pages, the default [blog name] page title format for your post titles in the browser window will be replaced by your post title instead. If you’re in the main page, your page title is your blog name. If you visit one of your posts, the page title would be the post title.All Changes will take affect with in 24 Hours after yours change in code.Change can be shown easily easily both on yours browser and Google Search. :)

Using above Trick will increase the chances of your posts being picked up in search engine results for keywords which appear in your post titles (and can ultimately help draw more targeted traffic towards your blog.Remember Brand New Blogs will take atleast 6 months to get indexed by google after everychange. :)

    I’ve tried several changes to my blog, which are suggested on several blogs, but I cannot for the life of me figure out if this change is working on my blog. I don’t think it’s working, because my Google results seem to be even less than ever. Really frustrated. Can you help? I’m afraid to implement your suggestion, because I’ve tried 3 or 4 and none of them seem to work. My site is sequim-port-angeles-blogspot.com

I have made changes in my blog according to the above article.I found while searching on google(site:prakashsp54.blogspot.com)that now my post are appearing without the Blog title.But it is showing the blog description with every post instead of post description.

    Hmm ..Blogger Dont provide this Facility , Yours Blog will Take Time To Index in Google with your blog post content , Bloggers Blogs are always index with blogs Description , In some cases it will get index with post also.
