OrkutSpam Compelled Me to write again this post on orkut privacy ,due to large number of increase in spam ,hacking,and due to large spread of virus in all social networks sites specially orkut ,this post will help you in stoping all unnecessary and unwanted activities from stranges on yours profile and ofcourse from yours friend profiles because if you will be infected directly or indirectly yours friend will be also infected so to protect yourself and yours friend you have to follow certain easy steps that help you to Protect yours orkutscraps albums,videoes as well as yours testonomilas.First Of All we suggest you to keep yours content private.
Many of our friends are familier with this features but this post is for those who are still not familier with this new features ,and more then half of orkut members are unfamiliers with this post so i pray that this post will reach to everyone.
Now What You Have To Do First Of All Login In Yours Orkut Account Then Go To 
Setting Available on leftside of yours profile after That Go To Privacy .After reaching there you found many option there like myupdates,profile visitors,allow scraps to be written by,orkut in google search results,allow content to be viewed by, now i will tell you how this features works.:)
1. Myupdates help you in showing updates from yours friends side and yours updates to yours friends side ,if you Hide this
setting no one from yours friend list can see your updates like new photoes added by you and etc ..
2.Profile visitors many times you visited someone profiles and yours name comes in there recent profile visitors ,if you dont want yours name to appear in there recent visitors you have to tick Hide profile visit ,this setting help you from hiding yours name from recent profile visit ,but yes there is one demerits also,you also dont able to see who visited yours profile ,so if you want to see yours recent profile visits ,then dont tick mark Hide profile visit.
3.Allow scraps to be written by is a feature that stops Strangers from scrapping you ,means only yours friends have rights to scraps you no outsiders can scrap you and with this you can easily stop anyone one from spaming you ,To Enable that option just change option from everyone to friend ,Check below picture for help
4.Orkut in google search results : This feature will list yours profile in google search ,this will help yours friend in searching you in google ,you can show or hide this information as per yours privacy features,Depends on you.But If You ask me for that i will suggest you to Hide that.
5.Allow content to be viewed by:This is the main feature that protect yours Scrapbook,yours Photoes ,Videos,Testimonials etc and from strangers and you can easily keep yours content Private
Hope This Post will help you very much in stoping spams,virus ,etc from strangers and from other source ,one thing more i want to suggest you that donot click anything sent by strangers to yours Scraps Because this will either harm yours Computer or Profiles Or Even Sometime hack yours profiles So Better Suggested You To Just Delete Such Scraps From Yours and follow above mentioned steps.Enjoy Privacy From Orkut

suppose if v visit some1’s profile d name our’s wil not come in their’s recent visitors list…. so how can i do this setting…

Its easy to Hide Profile For This Just Go To Setting >>Privacy >> See Profile visitors >> Select Hide Profile Visit.
By Doing This You Can Visit any Profile , But the Disadvantage of this Feature is that is you too can’t see how is visiting yrs profile .

From the very beginning i am Recieving many Comments on how to View Locked Albums etc etc but There is no way to view such locked albums , Orkut has now completely Blocked this Feature , So Better not to waste tiime in searching this feature , yes if i will find this feature i will post this trick here and if anyone find this trick on internet , Post that trick here i will publish this with yours name in my post.
